INSTRUCTIONS FOR GATHERING CONTRACT
East Campus FREDERICK PARK
1. Pick up a gathering contract from your Community Assistant (CA), the Saratoga Community Center at 2802 Saratoga Ct. or by downloading the form below.
2. All residents of your apartment must print and sign their names at the top of the form and you must fill in the information about the gathering (date, time, apt. number, phone number, etc.)
3. In the middle of the page, complete the information requested about how you will determine if a guest is legally of age to drink alcohol.
4. Go to each apartment in your building and have ALL residents of every apartment print their approval for your gathering. Do not wait until the last minute to get these signatures. (Your gathering contract will not be approved unless all residents of the building have signed it.)
5. If you have missing approvals for a valid reason (roommate said resident went home/in hospital, etc.) you must provide a complete explanation of why you do not have the missing approvals.
6. Deposit your gathering contract in the box at the front door of the Saratoga Community Center (2802 Saratoga Ct.) No later than 5pm the Thursday before your event. The earlier you turn in your gathering contract, the earlier you will receive approval. During holidays, it may be necessary to submit gathering contracts more than 72 hours before your gathering when University offices are closed for an extended period of time (ex. Fall and Spring Breaks)
7. Check you email often for an email from Andrea Dominguez-Blanco or her designee. Until you receive an email from Andrea, your gathering is not approved. Feel free to email Andrea via first class if you have questions or concerns about your gathering contract or do not receive an email from her. Andrea will email you as soon as possible after receiving your gathering contract. If your gathering contract is denied, the email will explain why it is denied.
8. Only one gathering contract per building per night. Only 1 gathering contract will be approved on any one court per night. It will be on a first come first serve basis.
9. Reminder: ALL gatherings must end at the beginning of quiet hours for your court.
Yorktown and Saratoga : Quiet hours begin at 10PM every night
All other FP1 courts: Sunday -Thursday quiet hours begin at 10PM
Friday & Saturday Nights quiet hours begin at midnight
10. Don’t forget to fill out the QUIZ on the backside of the contract.
INCOMPLETE GATHERING CONTRACTS WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!!!!
