Important New Information:
Due to the recent creation of Rouge Access Points in the Residence Halls, North Quad Community and the East Campus Community, the IT department has asked Student Housing & Residential LIfe to add this to the Student Housing Handbook:
Users are not authorized to connect and use WiFi Wireless Access Points on the CSUMB Network without prior approval by the CSUMB Information Technology Department. Such unauthorized devices often cause interference and reduce performance of the existing university-managed wireless network at CSUMB. Users should contact the IT Help Desk at 582-HELP if there is inadequate Wireless coverage in their area.
