Fall 2013 Move-in Day Info

Main Campus Move-in Day is Friday, August 23, 2013 9 A.M. - 5 P.M.

The check-in process for Student Housing & Residential Life will start in the Student Center.

What you must have to check-in:

  • In order to start the check-in process you must be fully enrolled as a full time student
  • Have all your fees paid (unless you have a payment extension via Financial Aid)
  • Information on two emergency contacts
    • Name
    • Address
    • Phone Number
  • Your Otter ID Card which you got at orientation
  • Make sure you have your Student ID number handy
  • If you are under 18 on August 23, 2013 you must have a legal guardian present to sign as well

East Campus Move-in Day is Friday, August 23, 2013

More information will be available as we get closer to the date of move-in

What you must have to check-in:

  • Due at move-in: Prorated August rent and security deposit (and pet deposit if applicable)
  • Any deposit previously paid (reservation/application fees collected) will be applied towards your current balance

Important Dates

May 31, 2013 - Last day to cancel housing to receive a full refund on your security deposit.

June 1 - 30, 2013 - $100 of the security deposit will be retained if cancelled in the month of June.

July 1 - 31, 2013 - $200 of the security deposit will be retained if cancelled in the month of July.

August 1 - 30, 2013 - $250 of the secuirty deposit will be retained plus a $650 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel in the month of August.

August 2, 2013 - Last day to pay registration tuition, housing and meal plan fees, or have a financial aid extension of payment, or have a third party authorization form covering registration tuition and fees on file with Student Accounting, otherwise your enrollment will be cancelled for non-payment

August 23, 2013 - Move-in Day!

August 26, 2013 - Residents must check into their assignment by 5 P.M. on this date to avoid assignment cancelations.

September 9, 2013 - Last day of the fall 2012 extension of payment for financial aid students ~ Last day to have registration tuition and fees, including course/lab fees, and housing/meal plan balances paid without being assessed a $20 late administrative fee and/or a $20 late housing fee ~ Last day to pay all registration tuition and fees and housing/meal plan balances to avoid a Business & Finance (Student Financials) hold placed on your student account.
