In order to break their 2010/2011 academic year housing license, residents are required to submit a License Cancellation Form. Academic Year License Cancellation Forms may be picked up in the Student Housing & Residential Life office, located in the Student Center. Staff are available for assistance 8:00am-8:00pm Monday through Friday, and 12:00pm-3:00pm Weekends.

Academic Year License Cancellation Forms must be turned in no later than Tuesday, November 30, 2010.

Residents submitting forms after this day will forfeit their security deposit.


Residents canceling their housing, will need to sign-up for a check-out time to vacate their on-campus space. Appointments will be available every 20 minutes between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, December 13-17, 2010 or between 8:00 am and 11:40 am on December 18, 2010. Residents must check-out of their rooms no later than 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 18, 2010.

Failure to sign-up, properly check-out, or not submitting a License Cancellation Form, will result in additional charges.

Residents checking our after Saturday, December 18, 2010, will be charged a daily rate for occupying the room during the winter break, according to the building and type of room they occupy.
