Update on Trash and Recycling Services

A recent student-conducted recycling and waste audit has resulted in changes to CSUMB’s trash and recycling dumpsters as well as service. Service changes will reduce trash pickup from 3 to 1 day per week. This will save CSUMB money and decrease the school's carbon footprint by reducing the number of trucks required to service the dumpsters.

Work in the halls 3/28 - 4/17/12 - Card Access Project

Many of you have seen notices popping up on the Campus Communications that new Otter Cards are coming. Some work in the halls is the first step in this process.

The Card Access project will upgrade all the physical card access equipment and software. This should allow us to have more flexibility with scheduling door hours and with the addition of some new door locations.

The construction crews responsible for the wiring and equipment installation for this upgrade will be working in the following buildings at the designated time frames:

Power Outage on Campus 3/24 - 3/25

Pacific Gas and Electric has informed CSUMB that a planned power outage will affect Main Campus and East Campus.

The outage on Main Campus will start at midnight on Saturday, March 24, continue through the night and into Sunday. According to PG&E, power should be restored by 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 25.

The outage on East Campus will start Sunday March 25th at 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

The outage will affect all of Main Campus and East Campus, as well as the street lighting on Inter-Garrison west of Seventh Avenue.

Friday, August 19 is Main Campus Move-In Day

Before you are able to move into your on-campus housing assignment at Cal State Monterey Bay, there are 3 crucial steps you must complete before you receive your key.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE-IN WITHOUT MEETING THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

1. ARE YOU FULLY ENROLLED?
All undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12 units. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 units to be eligible to live on campus.
