Welcome to Student Housing & Residential Life at
Cal State Monterey Bay!

We are glad that you have chosen to live on campus and are looking forward to a great year. Our goal is to provide you with a pleasant and comfortable living environment where life outside the classroom encourages and supports the academic mission of the University. We are confident that the many individuals and experiences that you will encounter this year will make living in our campus community an exciting and enjoyable part of your college years.

We encourage you to become involved in your community. The students here represent a wide array of backgrounds, cultures, life-styles and attitudes. Our on-campus residences provide a rich and unique opportunity for you to learn more about yourself and others. We invite you to seek out experienced students, especially members of your Residential Life staff and Residential Housing Association leaders to assist you in making your stay at Cal State Monterey Bay a successful one.

Please take some time to review the Student Housing & Residential Life Handbook. The booklet contains general information, community standards, housing policies, procedures, and other important information. Please take time to familiarize yourself with it and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to seek out our staff to find the answer.
